How do you begin to describe a dream? I booked Kasbah du Peintre thinking ( my mistake ) that it was located inside Ait benhaddou Kasbah, the day of our arrival I was confused about the location when I soon realized our accommodation was 7km away. Oh what a good mistake I did, for many reasons. I called Ahmad with whom I had been in contact a few weeks before and he came immediately to meet us and take us to his place. There are no words to describe how helpful, fun and wonderful Ahmed and his brother are. Ahmed will be always on the lookout to answer your questions and help you in everyway he can. The Kasbah is big and beautifully decorated to the culture of the area, his brothers gorgeous paintings depicting berber life are hanging around the house to give you an impression of life in this part of Morrocco. Food is excellent and he will ask you what would you prefer for dinner, I recommend the couscous immensely! Have never had such a refined couscous in my life, vegetables, bread, soups are all so tasty! Going to Ait benhaddou was a long-life dream came true and it surpassed all my expectations thanks to Ahmad, his brother and their kindness! This was one of the most magical and mystical experiences in my life, do yourself a favour and stay at Kasbah du Paintre, is not a accommodation, is an experience!

We are cycle touring and this was a perfect stay for us. Our tandem was stored inside securely and we were so well looked after by Ibrahim and his family. We also enjoyed meeting other cycle tourers here. We arrived nice and early as we're cycling the Tichka pass in small steps, and so Ibrahim walked us round his village explaining the Amazigh way of life. We had a fascinating afternoon learning about the culture, the effects of climate change, the coming of electricity and the history of the village. Ibrahim and his wife cooked a delicious traditional meal for us (the best we've eaten so far in our 25 days in morocco) and we were able to sit on the terrace looking out over the valley. We recommend this to anyone who wants to be part of an Amazigh village for a night while having all the comforts of an auberge.

My friend and I absolutely loved our girls trip to Kasbah Titrit. We were welcomed with incredible hospitality by the kind staff. The location in front of the oasis was so serene, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the spa and surrounding nature. The staff was so attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to provide us with everything we needed. The room was gorgeous, clean, and beautifully designed. We can’t wait to come back and stay for longer!

Great place to experience the real Amarzigh hospitality. Don’t book this place if you are looking for big luxury, yet it is clean, the food is great and the view and the atmosphere totally make up for it.

Very nice family and the food was amazing. We loved the view and a friend of the owner gave us a nice tour through the village.

It’s a very nice and clean hotel. I enjoyed staying there. The only sad thing was that the pool they have was too cold to jump in as our staying was in December :(. Other than that - all was perfect. Rooms are with the AC, nice clean bathroom. Our room had a stunning view into the mountains through the window. The girl working there, whose name is Nadia, was very nice, polite, she even served us late breakfast cause we overslept after a 10 hour driving. In total - it’s a place worth to stay in, definitely!

We were 4 girls doing a road trip in morocco and spent two nights at tigmi hamid. We arrived late at night and Hamid was waiting for us to greet us. The pin on google maps confused us but our host came and picked us up. There is a sign a few meters before that pin! Our hosts were very nice and welcoming. The view was amazing and this small hotel was very cosy and nicely decorated. It was very clean. We had our breakfast in the terrace and after dinner our hosts played some traditional music.
