We loved our stay in at the Appartement Dokkum. Mellie was great to correspond with and picked us up at the bus station on our arrival. When we got to the apartment, we were welcomed with some dutch snacks including some yummy Friesian bread for breakfast the next morning. The apartment itself is beautiful and very clean with everything that we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Everything is within walking distance, including an amazing cheese store right next door. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

    The apartment develops in two floors; ground floor has the kitchen and the bathroom full of all accessories and necessities; The host provided us with nice Frisian Sugar Bread, some lemon curd cakes and plenty of tea bags and coffee. The beds are on the second floor, which is spacious, well lit and comfy. There is also a sink to brush your teeth w/o need to go downstairs. The small living area facing the street is very cozy and relaxing. The place is really in the heart of the village.
