We stayed in Gables B & B for two nights. The rooms are nice and cosy, and everything needed is available. The hosts are really friendly, always reachable and they even treated us with a bottle of wine. Highly recommended!

Tongariro Suites is located right within the national park, and the studio room we stayed in was beautiful and extremely clean. There were snacks and food for breakfast that was already put together in our kitchenette when we arrived which was convenient since we were leaving early in the morning and wouldn't have time to stop anywhere for food. There was also a private patio outside our room that overlooked a pond as well as a larger patio outside the common area with a hot tub and outdoor furniture. Strong Wi-Fi and free parking onsite were also a plus!

The house is amazing from the drive up past the pond to the highland cattle the view and the lodge itself. The structure and architecture of it is stunning. The owners were very kind and helpful ohhh we loved the jam and crumpets wow. Actually had to buy some more jam was that nice. Thank you so much we loved it.

    A great unit, we have never stayed in a holiday home village before, everyone was so friendly, the town was a short walk and the volcano was visible from our deck. We turned up a day early but were looked after and welcomed with humour and kindness. Also a great stop to do the laundry!
