Beautiful location, nestled I the valley of Faja Grande. Stunning views of Poso Ribiera do Ferreiro and walking distance to the hike. The cottages were quaint but well equipped and preserved the traditionality of the old village. Thev staff were super friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. On-site restaurant had a good breakfast spread with made to order options availability and even vegan and vegetarian friendly.

The location, view, cleanliness and well-equipped apartment were all great. We enjoyed drinking our coffee with a spectacular view from inside or out lounging on our deck. Check-in was smooth with friendly staff, great meals at some local restaurants, and we always looked forward to returning to our Villa. Will definitely return. Fajã Grande is a unique location and a great home base for hiking.

At the end of our trip to Flores Island, we stayed at Casa Vicente, and it was one of the highlights of our journey. Located in a peaceful and quiet area in the northern part of the island, it offered the perfect setting to relax and enjoy nature. The house had all the facilities we needed, including a renovated bathroom that was excellent. We all slept very well thanks to the cozy and comfortable setup. On top, Casa Vicente has a lovely garden that our children absolutely loved - plenty of space to play and even some extra toys thoughtfully provided by the owners. Definitely, it was a perfect base for exploring the northern part of the island. And just a short 2-minute walk from the house, we could admire the view of Corvo Island. A big thank you to Susana, whose attention and kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. She was always available and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s clear that the place is being lovingly maintained and improved. We wish the owners all the best with the ongoing improvements. Being in such a remote place, it’s understandable that not everything is available right away, but they’ve done a great job making it comfortable and welcoming.

Very large, fully equipped and stylish apartment conveniently located on the heights of Lajes. Access by car is easy. The hosts really did the utmost to make us feel welcome: they even managed to enable a very early check-in for us, as we arrived in the morning. Coffee tabs for the nespresso machine and other goodies were offered!, and a word of welcome (in French) on the kitchen whiteboard. We had detailed instructions for everything and humidity was not a problem at all! We did not cook, just prepared breakfast, and had little time to enjoy the view, as we were constantly on tour. Going out to restaurants in the evening requires driving… or uphill walking with a full belly, but even the latter is feasible.

    This apartment has a great location with easy access to restaurants, a cafe and a little supermarket. Being on the West coast gets you beautiful sunsets to see in the nearby village It is very clean, quiet and the owner is very nice and helpful. It also has air-conditioning which is important as the place gets very hot in the afternoon sun.

    Houselady has arranged for us a fresh fish from local fisherman for our evening grill party. Just great! Accommodation was very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Parking is just in front of the villa. 20 minutes drive from airport.

    The location of the house is amazing, close to cliffs and the waterfalls. Amazing for nature/outdoors fans as lots to see nearby. Really close to the sea and a black beach, near to the village and a couple of nice restaurants/coffee etc. You could walk into the village or a short drive if preferred. The property is really spacious, with plenty of room to relax together if you're in a group. Nice spacious kitchen with dining table. Wifi was good.

    That the owner greeted us in person and informed us about all the sightseeing of the island, the best roads and roads to avoid, updated us on the local forecast and gave us advice about restaurants.     The apartment is very comfortable. The bed was big and comfortable. The apartment includes facilities for cooking, and we used it to prepare breakfast. The village is very near and you can buy fresh bread at 6:30. The owner filled out any request on the spot, and he is available all the time. In the apartment and in the garden that is surrounded by a green hedge, you have total privacy .
