Absolutely gorgeous, historic accommodation in the heart of Strängnäs. You can see the Domkyrka bell tower from the bedroom window and it’s a short walk to the harbour and windmill (well worth a tour—it’s free and the guides are fantastic). Henrik and Isa have thought of every comfort and are incredibly obliging hosts. The bed is possibly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Strängnäs itself is adorable. Its location on Mälaren makes for a beautiful outlook, there are cafes, restaurants and boutiques. There are shops, pubs and swimming spots. The train takes you to Stockholm in less than an hour and it’s not too far to Mariefred and Gripsholms Slott. I mean, what’s not to love? Henrik and Isa have good recommendations to suit your needs. You should stay here!

It is a little bit outside the city surrounded by fields, very close to a lake, also have a tennis field... peace and quiet. Beautiful morning and evenings. Very clean and run by a family who live nearby. They also serve a good breakfast.

Fantastic location at the heart of Mariefred. Excellent room and add-on bicycles to roam around Mariefred. A perfect cosy homely atmosphere for a relaxing weekend with family next to Gripsholm castle and the Järnvägsstation. Look forward to staying again here. Loved it very much. Thank you.

Great view from large window. Very friendly landlord, quiete area, flexibility (booked about 2hours before arrival). Only 1 night was also possible.

Beautiful building and beautiful stay. There are multiple bathrooms and showers. Comfortable. Workers are very friendly and helpful. BTW, they have reception in Gripsholm Vardhus, so in case you are checking in late don't worry. And they have breakfast over there. With car 2-3 minutes, or like 10 minute walk distance.

Such a wonderful stay at this well-equipped, ground floor apartment right in the middle of the historic old town of Strängnäs. Parking was possible right in front of the apartment which is not to be taken for granted in the old town. Everything of interest is within a short walking distance, the downtown area, the harbor and the cathedral. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

The host Anne is very nice and friendly. She offered quite a lot of information in regard to our stay. The room is about the right size for B&B, and we like the country vibe around the premises.
