Though I was there to visit Bártfa and the Csergő mts, the wooden church was the most attractive sight on its own (like 13.7meters away). Csergő seems to be very natural compared to other ranges I was in Slovakia. Probably it is not so famous among hikers and tourists, but still mostly protected, and e.g. timber production or mining is little, keeping the area in a natural shape.

The place is definitely worth the money. It’s clean and located in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains. The room is spacious and equipped with all the necessary facilities, including a hot shower. There’s a shared kitchen with everything you might need. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Parking is convenient — there are several spots in front of the building, as well as a large backyard parking area that is closed at night for security.
