Very comfortable bungalow. The host was very helpful and friendly. She organised a boat trip to the market at sunset which was beautiful, she also went beyond to find us a taxi to Ha Thien on one of the morning of the new year.

I just stayed for one night. Homestay was quiet, great for a good night's sleep. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The building and the room seems new and was very clean. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning and TV worked great. Shower in seperate stall (washroom was not a wet room). Very close to the river - nice for a wander. Breakfast included was a tasty simple pho (noodles and greens) Tips for other tourists: - It's a 30 walk to the dock for the floating homes and floating market. Market was *very* quiet on a Tuesday (maybe a dozen vendors, 30+ boat homes), but peaceful and pleasant. Manage your expectations though! - Grab wasn't running at 5:30 am, but was available around 8:30 am for local trip - Grab wouldn't pick up for drive to Can Tho airport, but was able to arrange through the homestay (around 1,200,000 VND)

A Unique and Heartwarming Experience, Thanks to Dou and Her Family Staying at this homestay was a truly special experience, and it’s all thanks to our wonderful host, Dou, and her lovely family. From the moment we arrived, Dou welcomed us warmly and took care of us throughout our entire stay. She even guided us on a local tour, recommended excellent places to eat, and brought us to a wonderful massage spot. We were two couples – my husband and I, and our son with his girlfriend. My husband and I stayed in the main house, which includes a dining area, library, and bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, there’s a cozy bedroom with air conditioning and a spacious seating area with a balcony overlooking the river. The house is tastefully decorated with delicate aesthetics and great attention to detail. Our son and his girlfriend stayed in a nearby room above the family house. That space is more modern in style, yet just as charming. We stayed for two nights and had a magical early-morning trip to the nearby floating market to watch the sunrise – a truly unforgettable experience. Even after we left, Dou continued to assist us – helping us order special items we had seen at her place and arranging two drivers to take us to our next destination. Dou speaks excellent English and is the heart and soul of this place. She made our stay not only comfortable but genuinely meaningful. The only downside is the noise of boats passing along the river – but surprisingly, we got used to it quickly and it didn’t take away from the experience. A special mention to Dou’s mother, a fantastic cook, who surprised us with a delicious homemade dinner after our trip, and even prepared sandwiches and snacks for us to take when we left – without us asking. If you’re looking for an authentic, warm, and unforgettable experience, this is the perfect place.

The room was spacious, clean and very lovingly decorated. We had a balcony from which you can't see the river, because unfortunately there are buildings in the way, but it was pleasant to sit outside. The wifi is very good, I was able to do my work with it. What we also noticed was that all light switches in the room were marked with stickers in English. That was great, so we knew exactly which switch was intended for what. The mattress is hard, which we like very much and the nights were, except for a very noisy arrival, very quiet. We found the owner particularly wonderful. Although she hardly spoke English, we were able to arrange our onward transport with her with the help of the translator app. In addition, an English-speaking friend of hers came to help, who gave us a piece of paper with instructions for the bus drivers. The two ladies were so helpful and we are very grateful for that.

Nice building, very cosy place. Lift for the luggage. Room was nice and clean. The kitchen was a must. The landlady is helpful, but doesn't speak English (thank you google trad)...
