Our host CHUA was really very helpfull and also an excellent cooker. Very pleasant homestay, quiet with a nice view on the rice fields. The place to be if you want a great stay.

The staying here was amazing, authenting experience of living lokal people in this place. The rooms is simply furnished but nice and clean. Owners are hospitable and pleasant, food delicious. The homestay are offering trips around, which we took advanced and was very satisfied.

Our stay was excellent thanks to the owner of homestay, his wife and all hiss family. They were very friendly and helpfull. Our bus was late, we arrived at 2 a..m. in the night and the owner accomodated us without any problems. We were tired and very grateful for his willingnes.

Our four-night stay in a bungalow at A Su Homestay was definitely the highlight of our trip to Northern Vietnam. Run by a young Hmong family, the place itself and the views are exactly as beautiful as at the pictures. Moreover, A Su and his family created a warm and welcoming atmosphere and provided us a unique opportunity to learn about the culture and life in their village. The breakfast and dinner were exceptionally good and varied, with many local specialties. A Su speaks very good English, and was our local guide with whom we had long and interesting conversations during the trekking and motorcycling tours, as well as a day of handcrafting. He also helped us with organising our transportation back to Hanoi. We visited in early December and highly recommend visiting Mu Cang Chai, also outside of the peak-season. Although maybe not so colourful, the landscapes are still stunning. Since Mu Cang Chai is much less visited compared to heavily popular destinations such as Sa Pa or Ha Giang, we had a great opportunity for an authentic experience to learn about local life.
