I like the position right on the estuary. We walked down a few steps from the garden to the beach and took nice walk along the sand to Kei River mouth. There were several fishermen there, very willing to chat and share their experiences on almost any topic (or fishing if you prefer). Kei Mouth is an extremely friendly village and Neptunes Cove is part of the great atmosphere. The quiz evening at the Yard is not to be missed - including the great buffet.

We had a lovely stay at Barefoot. We were warmly welcomed by Andrea, who goes out of her way to make you feel relaxed and to make sure you have everything you need. Ocean front accommodation with everything you need for a beach holiday, the cliffs are right there and you wake up with the sun rising in front of your window. Really loved the personal touch (the host/owner surprised us with some super special treats for our belated honeymoon). Absolutely lovely place. The room included breakfast at the Salty restaurant and it was a really good breakfast.
