Tasty huge breakfast on the covered patio at the back of the property with views of a bird feeder. We saw even the toucans! The owner has a telescope to let the guests view the birds. It felt special to have Leo lead the night tour of their garden to look for frogs, for every guestroom separately (we stayed 3 nights). The beds are huge and comfortable. There are 3 AC units in the huge main room which has 2 sections for 2 of the king beds, and the cold air overflows into the 3rd bedroom too. Beautiful heated pool with sunbeds. It is only a couple of minutes to drive/taxi into La Fortuna town for many restaurants and services, and some of the attractions of the area are closeby (La Fortuna waterfall, El Salto, some of the tours / farms - we visited Finca Educativa Don Juan behind the property and liked it a lot). We could have had laundry done too. Communication excellent. We wish them all the best!

There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We had a great stay! The place was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed—pan, pot, sharp knives (and a sharpener!), microwave, and even a washing machine with space to hang clothes outside. The hosts were super attentive, took out the trash, and even offered to clean during our stay. We also got a lovely bottle of wine as a welcome gift. The setup is perfect for four people, with two beds, two sofas, two TVs, and outdoor seating with a table, benches, and an umbrella. Parking on-site was a plus.

Room is very clean and provides everything you need. Neighborhood is quiet and safe , you can see arenal volcano from your balcony .

We are doing a trip around the country and out of the 5 accomodations we stayed so far, Suwa was far the best experience. We couldn’t recommend it more!

Location is excellent - close to many restaurants and supermarkets, but far enough from the tourist path. There's a private garden area where I was able to work from several mornings to get my sun, amidst the chirping of the birds. Maikol helped me book all of the after-work activities I've done in La Fortuna. He also went above and beyond in ensuring I was satisfied with those activities even though he wasn't the tour operator.

The Nirvana Hostal was the perfect oasis for me before my departure and Kenneth was a super friendly host. He also offered me the chance to stay for the day as my flight wasn't until the evening. So I was able to rest and relax. I had dinner nearby in the evening and breakfast at a soda. Both on Kenneth's good recommendation. The apartment also had its own small kitchen with coffee and tea included. I have already made a reservation, will be back and am happy to recommend Nirvana Apartement to others.

The property is located 19 km from Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica, 19 km from La Sabana Metropolitan Park and 28 km from Barva Volcano. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Poas National Park is 31 km away. We enjoyed the apartment so much that we ended up extending our stay for one extra night. Adrian was very welcoming and efficient when I arrived. Then Olga was extremely caring and friendly for the rest of our stay. Both of them gave us lots of tips and helped us with transportation to interesting places and the airport. We found the flat cozy and very clean with lots of attention to detail. It contains everything you need and more for a comfortable stay. The location is quiet in a residential area, but close to Alajuela center.
