I’m not surprised by the high reviews — the photos show exactly how it is. The place has a calm vibe, great breakfast and coffee, and a garden full of life. The night tour was amazing, with red-eyed and glass frogs. We didn’t see a sloth in the garden but did at Mistico Park and at the hosts’ farm, where we ate fresh rambutans! We didn’t feel like a tourist here but part of the family. Truly memorable stay. Thank you Leo and Rosaura!

They were there for every little question, provided me with everything I needed, and made me feel not just welcomed, but genuinely cared for. It was the kind of warmth and generosity that’s rare to find - I almost felt like I had become a part of their family. Thanks to them, I had a perfect rest and a smooth trip the next morning. I’ve never stayed anywhere quite like this before. The kindness I experienced here was truly something out of this world :)

The rooms were small but worked perfectly for our group of three. Very nice rooms and comfortable beds. The location was also amazing. The hotel was close to restaurants and right downtown La Fortuna but still in a relatively quiet area. The staff was amazing and we were able to leave our bags safely in the hotel while we explored la fortuna before our shuttle showed up. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting La Fortuna.
