In my 35 years of travel history, never have I ever come across such a super, fantastic and humane host - extremely helpful, always available, going out of his way to ensure the guests’ comfort, extremely informative (better than google and chat gpt) AND refuses to accept any gift or reward (monetary or anything)! The property is non-smoking and is located 1.4 km from Koli National Park. A modern and well-equipped studio apartment in a great location close to lots of beautiful views and hikes. Our host was very responsive and gave us some great tips about places to visit. We can highly recommend.

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. We stayed 2 nights at Kolin Kolo, which was the best place we have ever lived in Finland. It was a really family-friendly place. For example, we could drive for 5 minutes to the top place to park from here; it offers heat system and sauna, it was private and secure. The kitchen was also excellent, it offers almost everything we need.

The contact person was easy to reach. It was super nice to swim in the lake after sauna. The pictures give a real picture of the house, extra plus for that.

You can enjoy the beautiful scenery at any time. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Paimentupa to the trailhead. In less than an hour, you can hike to Paha-Koli, Akka-Koli and Ukko-Koli, and other hiking trails. The layout and color of the room are elegant and warm, and it is also very clean. It makes people feel like home and very comfortable. It is highly recommended to those who want to travel to Koli National Park. I stayed three nights and really enjoyed my stay there. Paimentupa also offers horseback riding experiences on forest trails, which is also highly recommended. The owner provided considerable assistance, making it smooth for me to get there even by public transportation.

The chalet offers lake views and an outdoor fireplace. The view, the wooden sauna, the grill area, and the surrounding area. Koli National Park is a beautiful place to visit but for me, the view from the cottage was even better than the ones from the famous viewpoints in Koli. You have an inmense piece of land for yourself with direct access to a clean, clear, and calm Finnish lake. The real Finnish experience doesn't get any better than this. I hope I can come back to this place in the future. I can highly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit this part of Finland.
