Washing machines & dryers available but at a reasonable charge. Staff were friendly. No cleaning for 3 nights stay but upon request clearing of rubbish and supply of new towels. Overall, very lovely & thoughtful touches here and there.

We cooked and had dinner twice and it was even possible to do that with two more family members staying next-door. The location is wonderful, you can do everything on foot! There is a Sainsbury’s a bit further down the road. I had been worried about noise from outside. We had a room to the front and it was perfectly fine at night. We were woken up by the seagulls having a laughing fit. During the daytime more sounds travel up, so it might depend a little on the time of year. We were there in February, when it grows dark and cold early.
