James offered me tea as soon as I arrived. In the evening there was even a glass of wine. I was invited to stay in the living room or walk through the garden. There was always time for short conversations, which made my stay more pleasant. James prepared breakfast directly in the morning. The Irish breakfast was arranged according to my taste. For me there was freshly brewed coffee, orange juice, fruit, cereals, toast, beans and a selection of meats. The accommodation really looks like the pictures! If you like the style of an old country house, this is the place for you. Everything has been lovingly renovated to a high standard. The heating and the bathroom with shower were up to date but adapted to the style. All in all, highly recommended. I am glad that I found this accommodation.

Renovation is done with good taste and honoring the old house. Nice back garden too. Parking was easy, lots of parking slots just outside the house. We went to see the bog and had a nice walk there (The Abbeyleix Bog Project).
