In short, the perfect spot to recharge before diving back into colorful, bustling India. P.S. Asfal also helped us with the next leg of our trip. He arranged a taxi driver to take us to the Alleppey, and along the way shared lots about the history of Kerala and India, tea plantations, and Hinduism. We made several stops and got to try local sweets – highly recommended!

Big room, lots of space, very helpful and tentative staff. Good proximity to the airport - no stress in getting there in time! Nice dinner - a lot of meat available, which was nice given how veg dominated most of our meals were in India.

My stay at Abhi’s exceeded my expectations and I was given a very warm welcome and shown to my room which was huge with big windows, cool fans and air conditioning which I rarely used as there was a nice cross breeze with the windows open. I liked that there were tea or coffee making facilities in my room and a small fridge. I felt very safe there and no request was ever too much. The cafe is lovely, very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfasts were the best homemade Indian breakfasts! Mani was always with a smile! Loved the homey feel of this place and the cafe was always very busy so word is out the food is fab! Cute little finches and sweet dogs as well! Can’t wait to return!

What made our experience even more special were the hosts Alice aunty and Raju uncle who consistently went an extra mile to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible—always available, attentive, and incredibly warm. The location is peaceful and perfect for a family getaway, surrounded by well maintained beautiful garden and away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
