Clean and big room - very traditional old Japanese style Ryokan; exactly what we have been looking for. Great location too. The staff was fantastic, providing us with tips for the neighbourhood and some interesting Japanese coffee jelly. There is free coffee, tea and water as well at all times. Be sure to reserve breakfast at least a day in advance. We missed it and unfortunately could not get a taste of it (though it looked fantastic).

They know English and are willing to help you with anything. They clean the room and give you new towels every day. The toilet is the normal western one, not the Japanese futuristic one but that's ok. The futons are very comfortable. The train station is very close and they have a convenient store close by.

A 2-minute walk from Sendagi Subway Station, Japanese-style hotel Annex Katsutaro Ryokan features rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring and free Wi-Fi internet. 受付の方が優しく温かい気持ちになりました。夜はすぐ近くの銭湯を利用し、お部屋でのんびりできたので仕事の疲れも癒されました。

Location couldn’t be any better- smack in the middle of the market and the temple. A little oasis there! The snacks and beverage station was a nice addition and the staff were super friendly.

The place is very well located, close to the subway station. The host is a nice guy, helped us with everything and in the end gave us a ride.

東京の中心部にあるSection L Hamamatsuchoはエアコン付きのユニットを提供しており、Hibiya Shrineまで徒歩9分、Shinbashi Shiogama Shrineまで1km以内、Seishoji Templeまで徒歩15分です。館内全域での無料WiFiを提供しています。... Had a very pleasant stay at the hotel for our 11-day trip. While we had the smallest studio available (booking.com did not seem to have any other sizes listed), it was decent bearing in mind Japanese hotel room sizes, and clean and well laid out. Kitchen was very well equipped, with ample cutlery, crockery and even bakeware. Friendly and responsive staff, even had a large amount of adapters and umbrellas for us to borrow. Soundproofing was also very good, we were not even aware that there were other guests on our floor until we bumped into them at the elevator. There was some repair work going on in the corridors but frankly we could not hear a thing! What I was very pleasantly surprised about was how convenient the location was; coffee and bakeries literally two doors down, more convenience stores than I could count within a 150m radius, and two very well linked stations barely 2 minutes' walk from the property. It was also a pleasant 25 minute walk to main Ginza, for those who want to enjoy some night life without worrying about extortionate taxi rides home (metro stops running before half past midnight). All in all, would definitely recommend the hotel for couples on busy trips who want a safe and relaxed, but well linked place to stay.

The room was perfect for a family of four as it had sufficient bed space, toilet, and cleaning space, which included a washing machine. There was also a small kitchenet! However, what made the experience exceptional was the kind and friendly staff. They were so helpful in all aspects! I would come back here again purely because the staff left such a great impression on me! A sincere thank you to all the staff members again for your kindness and helpfulness.
