萩の宿 常茂恵は萩市の萩温泉郷にあり、菊ヶ浜海水浴場まで徒歩12分、Shokasonjuku Academyまで1.8km、Shoin Shrineまで1.8kmです。5つ星の旅館で、庭、エアコン付きのお部屋（無料WiFi、専用バスルーム付）を提供しています。この旅館は無料専用駐車場と、周辺エリアの観光に便利な自転車レンタルを提供しています。 萩の宿... loved our stay here! the room was sooo spacious, more than enough room for 2 people. we really felt like we were having a true japanese ryokan experience. everything in the room, from the tatami to the bathroom was so clean and comfortable. the staff was very welcoming and they even came to pick us up from the train station! the front desk helped us with suggestions for different restaurants and called to make reservations for us, they were very accommodating. the onsen was sooo beautiful and really made our stay just perfect. the japanese breakfast was included and it was truly a work of art, every bite was delicious and a feast for the senses. we enjoyed their complimentary coffee while viewing the japanese gardens off the reception area, so relaxing. overall it was just wonderful and we couldn't have asked for anything better. oh and the staff also took us back to the train station after we checked out! would definitely stay here again.

Ulala is an adorable guesthouse, and I recommend it a lot. The place is clean, the room is comfortable and you feel very safe. It is offered free slippers, free towels, and the bathroom is equipped with high-quality shampoo, hair mask, cleansing oil and hairdryer. Also, the owner is welcoming and makes you feel like home. She offered me a car ride in two instances, and helped me take my luggage to the bus station. Thank you very much, I really appreciate it. it is located two minutes away from a Buddhist temple (Tokoji), which is worth visiting. Hagi is a beautiful, small coastal city with many interesting historical places, and the kindest people I met throughout my trip in Japan. You can do everything basically by walking but there’s also a cheap and nice bus system transportation that takes you to the main places faster.

This is a lovely "beach house" in a rather "off-the-beaten-track" part of Japan, at least outside of high summer season. It's actually not on the beach but exudes that vibe and is only a ten minute walk from the proper seaside. Great sauna, beautifully clean, and easy access. The neighborhood is more traditional and lovely, but dining options are limited for those without transport.
