The family owns the property. Everyone is so friendly and I feel very comfortable. They even gave me wood apple juice. And made tea the next day in the morning but since I was rushing for the train back to Colombo I couldn't drink. Felt so bad. If you don't mind like me to listen to the train passes by go for it.

It's a short walk to the closest beach but the beach with more bars and shops are a bit longer walk away or tuk tuk away it wasn't an issue for us but keep that in mind.
