I would highly recommend to anyone driving from Marrakech to the desert, this is a great half way point. We had our own car and their parking is great. It is outside of the main town but this is to its benefit, the rooms and terrace have an amazing view over the river bed and the mountains. Also I would highly recommend dinner at the riad, the food is lovely. Breakfast was also really yummy - Berber options and European options including the most delicious home made yogurt. Thanks again Omar and team, we had a lovely stay.

We stayed here one night with 2 kids, but we could have stayed a week! The hosts were so welcoming and very friendly, always making sure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Also, the food was delicious both at dinner as breakfast. Beds are comfortable with cosy blankets for the colder nights. We will come back!

You can relax on the furnished terraces, where the hosts will welcome you with mint tea and Moroccan pastries. Location, design, decor, staff! An exceptionally special stay in this historic village. 8 rooms, each unique, each with a view and/or a terrace. Staff very accommodating- it was a very cold spell and they made sure we had heat in our room. Each common room of the hotel was a masterpiece, the cave-like ‘family room’ to the dining area and terraces. Breakfast was also exceptional taste of the region and plentiful. Because it is a UNESCO site there is very limited power. Charging is done in a central area by reception. All lights are out at night to conserve. Knowing this ahead allows you to plan accordingly. Parking for 20 dirhams in someone’s gated yard worked well. Hotel has this dialed in and it’s a good way just be sure you are paying the property owner and not someone on the street acting like it’s theirs. Sunset from the top, sunrise from the eastern knob, or from the hotel terrace.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Excellent family run guesthouse near Todra Gorge. Very clean, comfortable, quiet, good breakfasts with homemade breads, and hot water for showers! Highly recommend exploring the palmeria across the street. A magical oasis of date palms and farmland. We also enjoyed the two hour hike following the river up to the gorge and even walked back. Rachid is a kind host and helped us get a taxi to Merzouga at the end of our stay. Staying here was an unexpected highlight during our two months travels across Morocco. Amazing value!

The host was super friendly and social and we learned a lot about the local culture. The room was very clean and cosy. There was a roof terras with a beautiful view of the oasis. Great value for price. Would really recommend.
