Room was spotless clean, breakfast buffet was awesome for filling up before heading into the jungle, staff were all nice and attentive. Hands down best accommodation we’ve had in Malaysia so far.

We arrived in Kuala Tahan when the floods started rising. Our host informed us about the situation beforehand, but we decided to go there anyways. We stayed 2 nights, and he was always helping and informing us about the flood situation which was very helpful for us. Unfortunately we did not see much of the inner jungle of Taman Negara. But if the floods wouldn't had been at this time we would have had a great time at Hana Guesthouse!

The guest house provides a picnic area and a 24-hour front desk. It was a very lovely guest house with basic but well maintained facilties. The balcony door in my room had super cute hand-made paintings of local animals! And there was a family of kitties that seemed to live on the premises! There was also a nice, outdoor area but I didn't get to use it because of my busy schedule. However, the biggest plus of this place was its host. He helped me to figure out my chaotic plan and arranged my tour and a taxi in a way that I was able to catch my bus to the next destination, which at first seemed impossible. Amazing!
