Location is about a 30 min walk to the surf spot so would be worth considering a motorbike rental.

The cabins are really cool, and there are hardly any mosquitoes around which is different from the rest of Ometepe. There's a mosquito net to sleep in as well. The kitchen we had was perfect and the bathroom even had warm showers. The people who run it are also lovely and were flexible when we wanted to change dates.

The hostess is really friendly and will help with anything you need, from logistics to rentals or tours. The breakfast she makes each day is excellent and rotates between four main meals. You even get a welcome drink on arrival! The location is great, surrounded by greenery but still close to restaurants, markets, and the Finca Magdalena approach to Maderas volcano. We stayed five nights and we’d happily stay again!

Teresa the owner is lovely and she treated us like family. The triple room was huge and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook or alternatively, Teresa will cook homemade delicious meals. The location is great, we recommend sunset at Mangos beach .You can reach Papaki by public transport but it takes long time, we recommend to rent a scooter or quad bike. The website of papaki is well done and you can find all the information about transport, food and activities to do in the island.
