Our host worked hard to connect with us, and to make our stay a good one. He had to balance caring for each of the people staying there. And, of course, he has his own family he must not ignore. The breakfasts he makes for us are varied, healthy, simple, but tasty. The location was perfect. We lived in a real neighborhood, which meant the dogs barked, there were sometimes odd neighbor noises, construction here and there, but everything eventually quieted down at night. I didn't fit into the house very well. I am tall and getting older, and I think it's an environment that works for the young and slightly more compact person. But, I still loved it just the same. I'd certainly stay there again if in Patan.

The host was also extremely responsive and welcoming, making the entire experience even better. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. ( Right in between Thamel and basantapur durbar square) is a recently renovated apartment situated in Kathmandu, 500 metres from Hanuman Dhoka. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The apartment has family rooms. Love the vibe, the atmosphere and everything here. The rooms are very nice, cozy. Love the pomelo garden in the middle. The location's great, near the Dubar square, only one step out and you're in the bustling morning market.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The best homestay I've ever stayed in.. Prem and his family are the greatest people I've met in Nepal ( and I mean it!!). You will have an opportunity to stay with many locals and share about their culture. A lot of cute kids were always playing around, so the place was really lively. The food was excellent and the room & bathroom were sparkling clean! The village of Namobuddha is very authentic and the scenery stunning. If you're lucky enough, you will also have the opportunity to meet Ian who lives there and runs a charity association to provide water pipelines for remote villages. Trust me, go there ...that's the kind of place you will never forget.

It is located less than 1 km from Hanuman Dhoka and features a shared kitchen. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. We had a lovely stay with Andrew. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Andrew will bend over backwards to help you out, lovely guy! He is also a great cook! We will be staying with him again.
