The traditional restaurant serves American and Belgian dishes, as well as French and Mediterranean cuisine. This is by far one of the most special places we’ve been to. I read a review where one said it was worth the 500 km detour from Tunis, I’ll give you a better one: it’s worth a 4000 km detour from Amsterdam! The setting, the views, the amazing rooms, the village itself, the location, the hospitality and company and above all, the delicious dinner and breakfast. It was perfect from start to finish. The hotel is very unique, every room is a cave. It's similar to the famous Sidi Driss, only it looks much cleaner, and you don't have tourist going around. We were very glad we stayed there. Everything was very clean, much cleaner than "normal" hotels we stayed earlier in our trip. There is private bathroom, even though it's not near your room, it is dedicated to you. We stayed there in November, and we actually were the only guests. I highly recommend getting dinner there as well. The food was delicious, it was cooked right there by owners and was very good.

The house is lovely and exactly as described in the photo. We also found fruit and water upon arrival. The location was very quiet and close to the sea and had everything we needed. I highly recommend it for a stay in Gabes.
