While it was a little tricky to find at night, by the time we found it it was stunning to drive in and see just these beautiful treehouses with fairy lights everywhere. We loved the eco-friendliness of the accommodation and we also loved the friendly dogs!

Dayspring Lodge is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Nuku‘alofa, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The owner and her family were wonderful and very hospitable. The brekkie was a nice assortment of local fruit and toast. She arranged for a ride from the airport with a nice, local man. I definitely recommend this place.

The air-conditioned holiday home consists of 4 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a toaster and a kettle, and 2 bathrooms with a shower and a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are offered in the holiday home. The property has an outdoor dining area. We had a great stay at Tonga Cottage - and for Tonga, this accommodation is very good! It can be hard to find places with hot water & good facilities, but Tonga cottage catered to everything we needed! The host was incredibly generous & kind, plus she went overboard to ensure we had everything we needed for an amazing stay. Would highly recommend.

Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air. Location was great, over the road from the beach, several good restaurants within walking distance, and Ancient Tonga cultural show just around the corner. 3km from the centre of Nuku'alofa so would recommend getting a rental car to travel around the island and see all the attractions. Uliti, the manager, is the most kind and helpful person - he arranged our rental car at a great rate when we arrived and recommended things to do and places to eat. We will definitely stay here again, was well appointed with a kitchenette and separate bedroom, balcony overlooking the garden and beach and free parking. I highly recommend Sky Lodge!!!

Located in Nuku‘alofa in the Tongatapu Island region, Paea's Guest House features a garden. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The homestay provides quiet street views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Paea is a really lovely woman who goes out of her way to help. She dropped us to town, organised taxis, gave us delicious cake and even let us use her car. It was so quiet so we slept well. It was great to have the use of the kitchen. I highly recommend staying here.
