Alan and Robert were very helpful with organising tubing on the Nile, a rainforest walk and a budget safari in murchison falls nationalparc for us. (I need to emphasise, that they don't try to sell their own packages, even though they're operating rafting and safari tours themselves, but really take into account your personal needs and wishes!) Big bonus is the great breakfast, that is freshly prepared by Rosette and Judith every morning. The two of them are two happy faces, always giving you the feeling to be very welcome at that place. They also took good care of our laundry, that was washed (by hand!), dried, ironed and delivered in one day. Thank you very much for making Buutu Nest a home for us.

Isaac himself was a fantastic and attentive host who made our stay feel like a home away from home. The rest of the staff were equally fantastic and supportive with each and every one of our requests at the venue. The location itself is worth the journey, with a clear and enchanting view of the Nile from the front verandah, and a pool that we made good use of. There were also pets on the property that were incredibly cute and charming. My friends and I enjoyed every moment of our stay and will definitely visit this property again. I’d definitely recommend it for a relaxed group trip.

This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. We absolutely loved our stay at Home on the Nile. We stayed for four nights. The view from the balcony is just amazing. The owner, David, was very friendly and helpful. He gave us plenty of useful recommendations for things to do in Jinja. The staff were all incredible. Hope provided us with fantastic service every morning. She even learned off our breakfast orders. The food was incredible too. Some of the best food we had in Uganda. Jessica made us lovely cocktails every night too. Great service all round. Also really appreciated the French press coffee in the room.

This should rather be named, "Gem on the Nile" - a stunning location, with spacious suites overlooking the river, with a really great dining area/bar! The owner, David, could not have been more welcoming, and a high standard of hospitality was also offered by all of the staff, every one gracious and friendly. The food was of an equally high standard: we ordered fish (tilapia) and it was cooked to perfection. Home on the Nile defines Value for Money - it offers a lot, for much less than many of the other accommodations that we stayed at during our Ugandan travels, whilst offering a similar high standard.
