The hotel’s location is great—it’s close to town and not too far from the attractions in the north. We also went snorkeling right in front of the restaurant, and the reef was really nice.

The beach is stunning, just like a postcard photo and we had it to ourselves most of the time. Angelique prepared lovely meals everyday and was great to chat to. The treehouse was really special and met our needs. The whole stay was relaxing, a really nice slow pace with swimming, reading, some games and more swimming.

When I arrived, the hot water wasn’t working so she insisted I’d have a hot shower at her house. She cooked the plantain bananas bought, not realising they needed to be cooked before they could be eaten, and brought me back a proper meal which included them.
