We had an amazing experience at Vila Pequi in Barreirinhas. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. We were warmly welcomed with delicious Brazilian treats, and to our surprise, we were upgraded to a better accommodation, which made our stay even more special. 💬 Staff & Service The hospitality was outstanding. Ludimyla was incredibly helpful in organizing our excursions to Lençóis Maranhenses—her support made everything smooth and stress-free. Arlene, who assisted us daily, was always kind and attentive, doing everything she could to make our stay perfect. Their care and friendliness truly made us feel at home. 🛏️ Comfort & Location Vila Pequi is located about 15–20 minutes by car from Barreirinhas city center, so we recommend having a car. The roads from São Luís are in good condition, and a regular car is fine. Having a vehicle also makes it easier to explore the area and get to restaurants or shops. The property itself is peaceful, private, and ideal for relaxation. We loved being surrounded by nature, away from the noise, and found it to be the perfect place to rest and recharge. ✅ Overall This was a memorable stay. The combination of warm hospitality, tranquil setting, and thoughtful touches like the upgrade and welcome treats made it truly special. Very friendly and helpful, super nice . Good food and snacks. It can be used as kite club (locker, food etc) no need to sleep here. Very knowledgeable of the spot, possibilités around. The spot is amazing, huge lagoons. Nothing like it. Tue road is very easy for a 2wd.
