The design of the place is absolutely stunning. It is an actual silo used for coco beans about a 100 years ago. If you are facinated with urban and industrial aesthetics - this place is for you! I liked self check-in process - it is perfect for me, as I prefer less interactions. Everything was available online with simple intructions. The room was spacious enough and big round window is amazing. Cute and healthy breakfast was included. Don't forget to ask for your Basel card for free public transport and museum discounts.

Great location, friendly staff, awesome breakfast. I also loved that the hotel gave us a card that we could use for free local transport. The breakfast was wonderful with many options - eggs, various meats and local cheeses, salad ingredients with their homemade dressing, local baked goods and a waffle station. We really enjoyed our stay! There’s even a sauna you can reserve.

We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment for a week as we prepared to leave Switzerland after 17 years. It was a bitter-sweet time for us, but we were immediately at ease when we checked in. The apartment was spacious, clean and fully stocked. Everything one could think of was at our disposal. Kai is a thoughtful host and if we needed anything we just needed to message him and he was ready to help. The location is fantastic with two tram lines just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Supermarkets and restaurants are all around. For an expensive city like Basel this guesthouse is a real find.

    The location was perfect for me to attend a 3 day event at the Conference Centre - was a very easy 10 minute stroll. Room was clean had to ask for additional blanket. Did not eat in the hotel. Dinner not available every night and finishes very early Big plus point the bathrooms are wheelchair accessible

    The property Is located very conveniently in case you need to go to the Sankt Jacob stadium. The tram is 3 minutes walk from the hotel and has its own parking free of charge. Great location The staff is very polite and I believe is really good value for money
