ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING! I would give it 11/10 if I could! We enjoyed our stay so much we barely left the resort, you're already staying at one of the key scenery spots anyway. The staff were all so nice and helpful. Don't be put off by the river crossing etc. The location is actually excellent because it's close to the train station AND the key "picture spots". Anywhere is pretty near Yangshuo but people usually come to Xingping from Yangshuo anyway, however Xingping is much quieter so it's both pretty and relaxing!

Everything about this guesthouse was absolutely perfect. What stood out the most was the kindness and warmth of the lovely girl at reception, who greeted us in such a friendly and welcoming way, immediately creating a pleasant atmosphere. The room was exceptional – very clean, spacious, and designed with great taste and attention to detail. The entire property featured beautiful furniture and carefully chosen decor elements. The bathroom was particularly impressive, with a wonderfully comfortable bathtub that allowed for relaxing baths with a stunning view. This is a place that delights in every aspect!

This place is one of those things that makes travelling worth it: The structure is really nice, our room was big, super clean, with an amazing view on the mountains. The location is perfect for exploring the area and for relaxing, far enough from the chaos of the small town but really close to the most scenographic and iconic section of the Li River. But the thing that really makes the difference was the staff: both the owner and the ladies were so caring and kind. They supported us in organizing some of the excursions and they also provided us with a very helpful offline translator to be used for communication with them and other people outside the house. Moreover they cook amazing food, so that we decided to eat there for all our meals! We decided to have the Chinese breakfast (as we love to live as the locals wherever we go), but they were ready to prepare us a continental one. They don’t speak English but they really make everything they can for helping you out and make you feel at home. We will take with us very good memories of the afternoon tea we had with the owner talking about their traditions and comparing our way of preparing tea and coffee :) I hope this place and these people will always stays as authentic as it they are right now

I am so glad that I found this beautiful hotel and had some wonderful stays with them. 1.sparking clean everywhere, soft bed and warm shower! 2. The staffs were super friendly and helpful! They even helped us hanging the laundry, they have wash machine on the rooftop.2 we had beautiful memories on rooftop with sunset.

Staying at this Li River scenic area hotel in Yangshuo was a wonderful experience! Converted from an old house, it blends history with modern comfort. The pool was a lifesaver during summer, offering a refreshing escape from the heat. The serene environment ensured peaceful relaxation. The staff went above and beyond, crafting detailed travel plans that made exploring a breeze. To top it off, the local cuisine served here was delicious, truly capturing the flavors of the region. Wonderful experience! Beautiful boutique hotel. The room is large, has high ceilings, and floor to ceiling windows. It is well decorated, even the towels and pillows are monogrammed, and looks like it could be in a magazine photoshoot. Bed is really comfortable too. Kate, the host, is friendly, funny, and helpful. Her English is perfect too. She gave me a lot of local tips on what to do in the area and about the local water taxi (only 3 RMB). Following her tips I managed to see a whole family of water buffalo! And get some stunning photos! I feel so happy and well rested after my time here. Happy to recommend :)

the hotel was very clean and tastefully decorated! the service was very good, staff were friendly and helpful! there was also free laundry for guests to use. we could choose between either chinese or western breakfast. we could also rent scooter at low price to explore the yangshuo area at ease. highly recommend this place to stay :)

An Unforgettable Stay I cannot recommend this place enough! This lodge is definitely a true hidden gem. It’s conveniently located at the heart of Yangshuo’s downtown, closed to the famous shopping street, Xijie Street, and all other famous attractions. The rooms are beautifully designed in modern comforts, spacious, and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and most stunning thing is “there is an elevator!!” inside the lodge. We did not have to walk all to way up to 6th floor. We just had more than we expected and needed for a perfect stay. The host is a lovely couple and they are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. They are also professional tour guides and help planned our itinerary to explore and experience the Yangshuo local attractions. They made us feel like part of the local family and complete our travel effortless. All in all, this lodge is absolutely fantastic. If you are looking for a decent retreat with exceptional services and a genuine local experience, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be returning!!
