Fantastic hotel in great location! Family run with much care & attention to absolutely everything! Extremely helpful & friendly family members run this hotel which has been in the family for generations. Additional staff in restaurant & cleaning ladies all very polite & friendly. The room was spotlessly clean with a beautiful view across the fields & a balcony which couid be accessed from the hallway with lovely flowers along the top of the balcony. The food in the restaurant was first class. We had the nicest meal we've ever had in Germany and the breakfast was fantastic too. All fresh, varied & tasty! There is a discount for residents eating in the restaurant too. As the restaurant is closed on Sundays we walked to gausthaus zollhausal which was a nice walk & took us 20 minutes. We had a lovely traditional bavarian meal there & the staff were very friendly with good English. It was all very traditional in the decor & building for the area. Good beer too! We really enjoyed our stay at de oedhof hotel & are grateful for the warm welcome & kindness shown to us.

    Corresponds to the description. Everything is clean, comfortable, everything is good, with a small exception: if you stay indoors all day, it’s a bit cramped for 5 people, tall people will probably hit their heads on the sloping roof. It's a bit far from the train station, but it's not a big deal for healthy people. But these are all unimportant little things. Overall, I recommend this place, everything is very decent and corresponds to the description.

    Everything was great. The rooms are clean, the host is very friendly and complaisant. The breakfast is served from 8 am to 10 am. We asked if it could be earlier and the host fullfiled our wish. Breakfast is very good, you can choose between variety of pastries, oats, you also have cheese, salami, yoghurt, fruit and fresh coffee. I would recommed this place. The gasthouse is near the highway. Good location if you are visiting Salzburg.
