This is a wonderful hotel in a quiet location with the most amazing views of the surrounding mountains. We flew into Salzburg and hired a car to drive the 20 minutes to the hotel. The drive was easy and the views were stunning. The hotel is walking distance to Freilassing train station too. The location was perfect for driving through the mountains to visit Berchtesgaden, the Eagle's Nest and Lake Koniggsee, all of which we saw in 1 day. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival and were informed that the restaurant was still open for dinner. The restaurant needs it's own review because it was one of the best meals we had on our trip! The room was the biggest and most functional room we had throughout Europe. There was loads of storage, a nice hot shower of a decent size and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included with the room and had the most amazing variety on offer.

Unfortunately due to the bad weather conditions on the day of our trip we had to cancel everything and could not arrive at the appartment. Although the cancellation period had already been expired, Denise was extremely understanding and allowed us to cancel the stay at no cost. Thank you again for your understanding and your help.     Excellent location. Very convenient to walk on paved level roads to the bus stop to visit Salzburg and the train to visit anywhere you wish. We were picked up and dropped off from the train by Helga. This was greatly appreciated as we had heavy luggage. The unit was very clean with all the facilities you would need. We’ll recommended.

    The location is very close to the nearest station (just about 15min. by S-Bahn from Salzbrug Hbf) and was very quiet rather than Salzbrug downtown. There were some casual restaurants to enjoy dinner. The hotel room was clean. The breakfast was nice and cheaper than the average price of others (+8Euro). Of course, if you wish to enjoy the nightlife in big city, obviously this place is not right place. But, for me, it was not problem. I could be relaxed staying here.
