It is feeling home!!! Many subtle things make me feel warm and cozy like my sweet home. Spacious with open kitchen and coffee and everything!! Simple and lovely place to stay, the most lovely is the heater since it is a bit cold at night and the early morning. One thing that can be improved is the blanket, it is very soft and comfortable but just not warm enough at night for one blanket.

The landlady left us milk, Bread, oranges & ice which was a lovely gesture especially after a long walk on the Camino. The landlady’s daughter has a masseur below the apartment & we had a massage which was amazing & highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Casa Camino, everything was perfect, Magdalena and her husband were amazing hosts and the bed was so comfortable!!! It was the best night of sleep we had in the entire Camino. The house is a gem, completely renovated and beautifully decorated. Food was amazing. It is located right at the Camino Primitivo, which we decided to do once we got there. It was a great experience as it was quiet, with amazing mountain views and original vegetation from Galicia. They offer a shuttle from Palas de Rei to the hotel (or you can take a taxi). We walked from there to Melide (and it was 3 km shorter than from Palas). It was worth the detour! LOVED IT!

    A very clean and comfortable apartment for the camino pilgrimage. The owner couple received us in front of the apartment and brought our suitcases up to the 3rd floor as there is no lift in the house. Warm maintained apartment during the rainy season. Location is perfect to rest during the pilgrimage as it is just near the super market, restaurants, pharmacies, as well as the start path of the camino.

    The whole set up was excellent. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and had everything I needed. I felt a little cold during the night and was able to take down the warm blanket from the wardrobe. There was a great selection for breakfast if you wished to avail of it. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The location was also ideal because you were 3 minutes away from the bustling centre. I will go back to this Pensión if I do the Camino again.
