The room was large and comfortable. It was nicely redone with high quality fixtures. Owners are a family who is restoring the buildings. They explained the history behind the buildings and we were glad we stayed there to help them continue the efforts of its restoration. There is much left to be redone but our room was wonderful and the large separate library/sitting area was very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was equally spacious. The area is extremely quiet at night and the free on site parking is locked up at night (guests can open the gate after hours). It was a welcome reprieve after two weeks of staying in cramped little Chambre d'hotes and auberges. It's great value for money and worth the short drive to get there. There isn't a lift, but the staircase is wide and easily manageable even with a large suitcase.

    The staff were extremely helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and there was no where to get dinner but they were happy to book us a table at a restaurant in a nearby town 20 mins drive away. We ended up eating the bread and cheese we had bought earlier in the day on their patio with a cold beer from reception. It was perfect.
