Valerie (the hostess) made us feel most welcome & is very helpful. If you are looking to soak up local history and/or experience something different, then highly recommend this spacious property. Excellent value for money, fabulous breakfast, lots of wonderful extras like access to kitchen/lounge areas & garden. Great place for families/group of friends and solo/couples.

We stayed at this lovely little hotel for just one night, but it left a great impression. The family room was enormous — one queen-size bed, a single bed, and even a comfortable seating sofa. The bathroom was also spacious and thoughtfully designed. Everything was impeccably clean from top to bottom. The on-site restaurant served delicious food, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Honestly, I’d always choose a family-run place like this over a big, impersonal hotel chain. Places like this deserve all the support — we’re always cheering for businesses that do it right!
