This wasn't my first visit so I already knew how comfortable and friendly this place is. Lovely to see the chickens who laid my breakfast eggs, and the majestic clydesdales. The shower had easily the best pressure of any on this trip (4 other hotels used). Lovely big room.⁸

Absolutely wonderful stay! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was absolutely perfect! The room was very cozy, this was the cleanest place I have ever been to!! I was amazed The hostess was very nice and communicative, she really takes care of her guests making sure they have the best time. I appreciated every little detail showing how much she cared for her guests (bath bombs and salts, mini face towels, tea and coffee in the room). It is not a hotel but a private house (which we knew before staying and we were absolutely fine with it but perhaps it may not be as clear to everyone) 6 minutes walk to the train station, 5 mins to Tesco and Lidl, very nice neighberhood, very quiet and safe. We were able to get to the center of Edinbourgh in 20 mins. Definitely recommend it!

We enjoyed everything about our accommodation! We arrived pretty late at night, as our flight was delayed and to our surprise we were upgraded free of charge to a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean and very well equipped (washer and dryer, dishwasher, iron and board, cutlery and dishes, stove, oven, fridge, toaster, coffee machine etc). There was also a TV in every room, which we didn’t use much, but it was nice to have. The beds are some of the most comfortable we ever slept in and it was great that we could set the room temp ourselves, as it was pretty cold at night during our stay. The staff is super nice and accommodating and the distance to the main attractions is decent (20 minutes walk). We’ll definitely recommend to any of our friends viaiting Edinburgh and, given the chance, we’ll come back!
