Lovely accommodation. Everything you could possibly need provided for in the kitchen and bathroom. Lovely surprise to find bread, scones, fresh milk and various other lovely treats on our arrival. As well as an excellent selection of teas and coffees. We only stayed for one night but would have happily stayed longer! Excellent instructions before arrival on how to find and access the accommodation as well as how to contact the owners if necessary. However, we had no need to do so as everything was perfect. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The staff were very hospitable and helpful they went 'the extra mile' and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast; our meals were tasty and the service excellent. We particularly appreciated the 12 noon checkout as it gave us time to do the Uckfield parkrun and return for an unhurried breakfast and a shower before checkout time. We would stay there again.

We stayed overnight on Christmas as we had to travel to see family. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome and at home. We had breakfast on Boxing Day and the meal was exceptional value for money and delicious! Again the staff were amazing! The Inn itself is absolutely beautiful! Our room was very spacious with a lovely king size bed, fire place and underfloor heating in the bathroom! Everything was very clean and beautifully presented!

    Mark greeted us on arrival, he pointed us in the direction of the Sheppard's hut and met us there to show us around and where everything was, and how things worked. The views were amazing, it was extremely peaceful location. Wildlife in abundance. Plenty of dog walks and fields in which he could safely run free Both Mark & Geraldine were very helpful

    It was a beautiful Shepherds' hut, with excellent facilities, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, verandah, garden area, spotlessly clean with pure peacefulness all around. Lovely hosts on a real, working farm with a little lake for swimming. Plenty of walking opportunities though we mostly just relaxed in glorious nature!
