Coming back to Woodend this Christmas was like coming home for the holidays. For one thing, Dawn remembered how much we loved a roaring fire in the fireplace that she made sure we had enough wood to get one going when we got there. The familiarity of the place made it a cosy Christmas. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave and a washing machine. Detergent for all was also 8provided Located just outside town, Woodend is easily accessible by car to the town and all the surrounding areas. Short of a white Christmas, the stay was exceptionally comfortable. If this place is so cosy in winter, we can't imagine how wonderful a summer stay would be like. The sheep in the nearby farms come practically right up to the boundary and sunrises have been gorgeous on this visit.

Just like a standard house. All the equipment necessary, no surprise. Owner living just by the rental. Warm welcome. Everything explained in person and through a booklet. Lots of space (inside and outside, parking as well), nearby mini grocery store - tesco. Standard fridge (not the little ones). Super clean. Modern. Looks like it was built within the year. In our top 5 of house rentals we’ve had (over 25).

Everything was perfect - it’s super cosy, all the equipment is tasteful and good quality. Bed was really comfy. The owners are lovely. The view is so beautiful and we lived sitting at the fire outside watching the fish jump.
