The location was excellent, a 5 minute walk to the main street. The property had everything and more for what you would need. The cottage was modern, yet it still felt like a cottage. My granddaughter loved the bunkbed

The apartment was fabulous and right in town centre in old part of Kendal. Beautifully presented and so comfortable. Louise was very responsive to all my messages. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kendal. Well done!! I’m just sorry I couldn’t spend more time there.

Perfect base for us while visiting family who lived close to the property in the village. A home from home. Plenty of room for 6 adults. View of Craggy Wood at the back was lovely. The train runs at the back of the property but you hardly notice it when in the property.

I couldn’t rate this home more highly. The attention to detail of the property was exquisite; the beautiful furnishings, the homely lighting, crisp white linen and the welcome treats upon arrival. The property is exceptionally well kitted out, with added extras- hot chocolate maker, air fryer, record player and clear ‘shop locally / environmentally conscious’ theme throughout. Everything within the property felt well thought through and purposeful. Very clean and tidy upon arrival. We agree without a doubt that we’ll be visiting again. Lovely cottage and an even lovelier host :) Very clean and well maintained, small backyard with a gate, front window overlooking the road. Bus stop right in front of the cottage, to go to Windermere or Kendal directions. All appliances in excellent condition, loved the fact that even the dish scrubber was new. Nice little biscuits and hot chocolate along with tea, coffee and milk which were in abundant supply. Ironing board, cloth dryer stand, all small details well thought of. Brittany was so sweet, she even brought salt, pepper and oil when I mentioned it was not there and we needed it. She also allowed a late checkout with just enough time for them to clean the cottage for the next guest. We had a great stay for 6 nights.
