The cottage was spotless and beautifully decorated. The location was gorgeous and close enough to Usk centre. The host was so kind and helpful, it was lovely to chat and they even left an amazing welcome hamper. Beds were really comfy too! The hot tub (heated for our arrival!) and outdoor area were an amazing extra also. We would 100% stay here again, it was a haven!

We had a very warm welcome. We asked for a quiet room, and we were given a lovely room, newly refurbished, with a lovely shower room and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, locally sourced bacon, eggs, sausage etc. served every day with a smile. We stayed for five nights, ate in the pub on two. Great pub food and good vegetarian options (there were for breakfast too) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Adam and your great team!

Beautiful decorated rooms that had everything you needed and more. Beds very comfortable and the staff were exceptional, very helpful and friendly. The building has been tastefully renovated to a high standard while retaining the original features, open fire and stonework in the dinning area.

Lovely relaxed place, great friendly staff and everything was arranged including dinner booking when we arrived. Food was just what was needed and great value, beer was just right as well in front of the fire after dinner, proper breakfast in the morning.

The staff were delightful, delicious food which we ate in the beautiful garden . Comfy bed and on street parking right in front of the door . Lots to do and see in Usk especially recommend a visit to Usk castle absolutely magical !

Everything was fresh and new, the view across the fields was amazing. The little kitchen was fabulous and a little fridge was handy. The bread and butter plus Welsh Cakes was a lovely treat. Real coffee and a cafeteria was also provided. The area was pretty and our little dog enjoyed watching the world go by through the low window. Watching the horse across the road getting out to bed was nice, the chirping of birds and the calling of sheep was calming and enjoyable.

    The communication during the booking process was excellent, over and above what can be expected. Situated in The Square, one of the best locations in Usk. We used the bar and ate in the restaurant, both of which are full of character with great ambience. We also enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden, ideal as we had sunny weather! The bedroom was spacious and the bed comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast items left in the fridge
