Located just behind the bustling port of Pothia…far enough to enjoy the quiet of the neighbourhood. The property itself is bright, extremely clean, very fresh and has all the amenities you would require to have a comfortable stay. Our host Katerina met us and went through the property…she won us with her smile, but the extras kept on coming!! without a doubt Katerina is exceptional and loves what she does….she even left gifts for us!!! We look forward to staying again next we are Kalymnos…again you have everything at your disposal

The hotel is an honest accommodation that met our expectations. We chose it because it had excellent reviews and a very high rating (10/10). It is located in the heart of the island, in a beautiful spot, but of course that alone is not enough. What matters most is the communication with the people running it, because if you encounter rudeness, you will not proceed with a booking, no matter how affordable the price. Our experience started with the communication with Vallia, who knows hospitality perfectly and stands out for her professionalism and fairness. She explained to us honestly all the pros and cons before booking and guided us to find the best offer. The communication with her was absolutely sincere, something we truly appreciated. Giorgos is a good man who loves to talk about the history of the building. As Vallia said: “if you want, you listen; if you don’t, then you simply don’t” , so there is no need for anyone to be aggressive in the reviews. On the positive side: cleanliness was good, service was immediate, and the sense of hospitality was strong. Areas that could be improved: breakfast could be more professional, and perhaps there could be an additional person at the reception, so that the owners do not need to be constantly handling everything, from check-in and breakfast, to welcoming guests and checking them out. Nevertheless, I personally will give it 10/10. Not only because the accommodation deserved it, but also because Vallia genuinely makes an effort to ensure that every guest leaves satisfied. Her kindness, care, and genuine concern make the difference. The location is wonderful, right in the town and in the heart of the island’s soul. I will definitely return to ARCHONTIKO.

We loved everything at this place. The hotel opened just a few days ago, which is why we were some of the first guests. The facilities are brand new and super modern. It felt like a place, that we want to live at. Our room was perfect for us and had a great sea view. The breakfast that was included in our price was just perfect (home made jams for example). What stood out most are the people working there though. Everyone working there was just super kind and helpful. We enjoyed lots of fantastic chats with all the people there and can only highlight their level of service - really exceptional. We would love to come back one day and can only recommend staying at this wonderful place.

Amazing little room right across from the ferry docks. We received detailed instructions of the self check in process the night before in the form of photos and a video that were so helpful and made the process seamless. The host also came to check that we got in ok. The room is small but so well equipped and perfect for our stop over in Pothia. The bed was super comfy and very big. The fridge had a cold bottle of water each in it. There was a coffee machine and a kettle with tea, coffee and pods provided and biscuits!! The bathroom also had shampoo, conditioner and soap. We will definitely be staying again.

It was comfy and felt like home. Full kitchen with full amenities including a washing machine.. BONUS!! Completely stocked with necessities. Easy to keep organised and tidy. The beds were comfy as well. It was great! Walking distance to Pothia, supermarket around the corner and the port with all the restaurants and cafes were a 8 Min walk. Loved it will definitely be back!!

This apartment was the most comprehensively equipped that we have ever stayed in over 20 years of travelling - Eirini has thought of everything! She was there to welcome us with a refreshing cold drink and sweet pastries, and a comprehensive guide to all that Kalymnos has to offer. The steps up to the apartment were a challenge for my old legs but definitely worth the effort. Restaurants and supermarkets are an easy 5 - 15 minutes' walk away, and the ferry terminal was only 5 min walk. The spacious apartment has views over the harbour and mountains behind the port, and was a comfortable and calm space in which to relax in quiet surroundings, thanks to good soundproofing. The washing machine was a welcome bonus.

    The location was near the ferry port (walkable with light luggage) and a short taxi-ride from the airport. It was quiet at night (we were not disturbed at all by the bars below). There was a baker's and a supermarket nearby. The apartment is spacious, comfortable , well-equipped and very clean. Fantastic view (and cool evening breeze) from the rooftop terrace. It was perfect for our one-night stopover. We did not meet Lia as she was out of the country at the time, but she quickly responded to our needs (see below).

    It was beautifully interior designed and the bed was very comfortable and pillows were great. Bathrobes and slippers provided. Also the towels for the beach. We are out but you could prepare simple meals if you preferred. There was a spacious balcony too. Everything was spotlessly clean. The shower gel smelt delicious. Great pressure in the shower too. Location was peaceful and 50 metres from the beach.

    Maria, the host is amazing! She is one of the best I have dealt with. The property was clean, and Maria ensured we had enough water, fruit and bread to last our trip. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Location was great. Top of the street, so you got to walk the main part of Massouri. Parking was easy, as there was always a spot available right in front of the property. I will definitely be staying here again.

    Best location, most modern, so quiet and very clean house in Kalymnos Port. We stayed 4 nights, and so glad for everything. Eirini kindly supported for our requests. And Artemisia! The modern queen of Kalymnos… Thanks for everything and your pleasant conversation… ευχαριστώ αντίο :)

    Great value. A warm welcome by the host. A stunning sea view from the balcony. The room was very clean with all necessary equipments. The location was great too - very close to the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, and rent a car shops, etc. We are cat lovers so cats on the balcony was a nice bonus for us (: A tip: bring a mosquito spray or candle for a relaxed evening on the balcony -we had many mosquitoes outside due to much rain in May this year.

    Beautiful apartments, modern and tastefully equipped, very clean. 20 meters from the sea, hearing the waves made it very tranquil. Low key evenings with delicious restaurants nearby. Ideal location for exploring Kalymnos. The host was very informative.
