I loved my holiday in Sofia Kalives! ❤️ I was travelling alone. They made me feel at home and safe all the time! All my questions were answered very friendly. Room service is great, they clean rooms every day. Even my dishes! My room stayed cool, altho I didn't have air conditioner on! View is beautiful! Sea on the other side and mountains the other. It is nice to sit at the terrace and enjoy the view and the local delicacies. Thank You Sofia for giving me the rest that I needed! Hope to come back soon! ❤️

We stayed for 8 nights and this property was ideal. Fantastic location. Kitchen had everything and more than needed, even had coffee machine and toastie maker. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The house has been renovated to a very high standard and is immaculate throughout. It is full of traditional style and very tastefully furnished. There is much evidence of the generations of family woodworking skills. Cretan hospitality welcomes you. All the rooms are comfortable, spacious, light and airy. The roof terrace is a wonderful place to sit at any time of day or night with superb views of the surrounding mountains. It is just a short 2 minute walk to the central square with tavernas offering excellent food. The host, Andreas, is very friendly and helpful, speaks English and has a wealth of knowledge about the village and Cretan life.

The villa is much larger than the pictures make out, it’s very peaceful, it was clean and has been well maintained. Anna’s communication was great from start to finish. A week wasn’t enough I wish we could have stayed longer. We found so many amazing beaches just 15 mins drive with lots of tavernas with great food, I loved this villa so much it was perfect for myself my partner and my two kids. We would definitely recommend to book this villa.

    For those who want an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, it is perfect, the location is 15 km from the national road in a small and cute village full of residents willing to help you. A cool stone house, at the base of a hill that had a superb view. Functional air conditioning in all rooms, shops nearby, good restaurants to eat at a maximum of 20 minutes by car. Our host served us with fresh figs, honey, specific drinks and the best fresh eggs for our child. I stayed for more than 2 weeks and would have stayed longer.
