Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable, with a spotless and well-maintained bathroom. The breakfast was a highlight—highly recommend trying the noodles, pancakes, and, of course, the coffee! The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect for exploring North Bali, and one of the best parts is that you can walk to the breathtaking Sekumpul Waterfalls. A special thank you to Agus, the hotel’s driver, who made our trip even smoother with reliable transfers. He speaks English well, drives safely, and offers fair prices—highly recommended! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

If you are reading this comment, you can just stop looking and proceed to do your reservation right away. This is by far the best room we had for this price since our travelling in Indonesia & Asia. What a lovely place ! We only had one night here and wish we had more. The room was very large (but apparently we had the smaller one) and amazing, AC was powerful, wifi was very fast, the hosts are so nice and generous. There was even a wall departing the shower from the toilet, which is rare. We needed to wash some clothes last minutes and they helped having it done for us in time for check out. Pool is amazing too and location for us was just perfect, not so far from immigration and from city center & beach.

Staying at D’Kailash Retreat was one of the highlights of our trip to Bali. The wooden bungalows are simple but really comfy, with good mattresses and everything you need to feel at home. I cannot describe how amazing this place is. From the moment we arrived, Lia and Steve have gone above and beyond at every opportunity to make us feel welcome, valued and at home in this beautiful property which is so well kept and in amazing condition. The views here are simply breathtaking I am convinced that no photograph could do it justice - it has to be seen to be believed and appreciated! I can honestly say this has been my most enjoyable stay at any hotel or guest house in the world. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway then this is the place for you. The beds are so comfortable it’s hard to get out of them in the morning! The food is incredible and cooked with love and great care. The nature surrounding this place is everything you could ask for and more. The cleanliness is impeccable and the swimming pool and its views are spectacular. We feel incredibly grateful to have found this slice of heaven and are so glad to have stayed here - we enjoyed it so much we changed our flights and extended our stay!! It just feels like Lia and Steve have thought of every single little thing, to the smallest detail, that are important to their guests and have got it fully covered. We were even collected and dropped home from a wonderful local restaurant, the Secret Garden, all arranged thanks to our wonderful hosts. Their pets are absolutely gorgeous and you can easily tell by them how well cared for and loved they are and it’s easy to see the care and love that goes into each and every guest here also. Thank you Lia and Steve for everything you have done - we cannot wait to visit you again!

Truly a haven of peace. A simple hotel that prefers to be hidden from prying eyes to preserve what Bali has to offer us. The reality is even more surprising. Everything is done to make you feel good. If you love nature and a change of scenery then you will be happiest. we spent time at sekumpul waterfall and fiji waterfall spectacular views with tropical green forest, very refreshing for the eyes and mind while here Think of this homestay as a place to rest, recharge your batteries and take full advantage of the perfectly maintained garden where nothing is left to chance. 3 houses with different atmospheres. Very nice staff. Cheap and excellent food. Massage services, scooter rentals etc. are offered. We felt more like we were staying with the locals and it was a pleasure. Beautiful sunsets every night. I could chat for hours but for sure we will be back again and again.
