My stay with Ika and Egi was one of the best experiences through all my travels in Indonesia. They created a beautiful place that looks like a dream and feels like home at the same time. We spent four days with them and we talked, we cooked, we signed, we laughed and we learned a lot. My heart is so full after being with them, I can only feel grateful to had the opportunity to find this place and experience it. I hope we can come back one day, and I hope more people can have the option to enjoy and share Tetebatu with them.

we discovered this hidden gem thanks to a traveler who spoke so passionately about it that we had to see it for ourselves, and we’re SO GLAD we did tucked away in nature and far from the usual tourist paths, we found ourselves completely alone in this peaceful haven we were welcomed with warmth by Aiwa and his wonderful team, who more than hosted us: they shared a piece of their lives with us the rooms were simple but clean, we only stayed one night but truly wished we had more time there we also booked a day tour through the homestay with Yusup and Anwing, two amazing and funny guides. we explored terebatu's amazing landscapes and encountered very few tourists to Aiwa, Yusup, Anwing, Iwan, and Amana: thank you from the bottom of our hearts, our time at avocado hostel will always hold a special place in our hearts ❤️

This truly is the perfect hideaway in the jungle! Serene view from the balcony, a comfortable big bed, the shower is very enjoyable, the staff is so friendly and makes you feel like family. Amazing hand made bambou bungalow built few months ago by the owner Girang. It is the only bungalow in the middle of a beautiful garden and surrounded by rice fields. Clean, confortable and brand new facilties. The view from the bed is just insane, strait on Rinjani Mount. If you are also looking for a local immersion in the culture of Lombok, go there. I met all his family, I cooked with them for diner, look for the vegies in their garden, did a bonfire at night. What a nice experience. Thank you for this good moment !

    Incredible homestay! Location is perfect. In the middle hof the family’s ricefields. You have a view on Rinjani from the back and a view like out of a movie from the front. The host and his family are super friendly and do everything to make you feel comfortable. Room is very clean and the matress is great. You should come and enjoy this while you can!

    The view is beautiful and it’s very peaceful. The staffs were very friendly and helpful and the room was spotless! The breakfast was decent too. It’s a good location, close by to some Warungs and also paddy fields, river + waterfalls. If you’re lucky you can see fireflies too.
