I really enjoyed my stay at Kakul Villa. The room was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The pool was great for relaxing, and the location is close to Ubud center but still feels private. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I’d love to come back again.

Ayis and his family looked after us really well! The location is perfect as it’s located in a quiet area but only 15 mins scooter ride away from ubud central- they also provide scooter rental which is convenient. The breakfast was nice with variety, the place is clean & comfortable, We’ll definitely stay here again if we come back to ubud! Thank you Ayis!

This place is a hidden gem. Nothing was too much trouble, and the room was clean and comfortable. The air-conditioning was cold, and the pool was deep and relaxing. Also, there was plenty of hot water. Even after multiple showers and baths, it never ran out. The location is great as well, in Sayan off the main street within walking distance to the market and one of the best coffee shops ( Story). A short scooter ride, and you are in central Ubud.

This was a great stay, and I enjoyed it so much that I ended up extending. The villa itself is beautiful, and very calming all around. There's only a few rooms, so often you'll even feel you have the whole area to yourself. The rooms itself are very spacious and are cleaned often. The staff is also very kind and makes you feel at home. It's not super centrally located but I personally enjoyed being in the calmer area and there were several places with great food within a 10 min walk. Plus, you can get to the more busy area within 5-10 min by Grab. Don't think you can find a better price/quality in the Ubud area. I would gladly come back in the future!

I loved how quiet and remote it is. I was lucky because there wasn't anyone in the villas around, or they were quiet most of the time. It's just you, paddy fields, birds, lizards and dragonflies. So peaceful. You get to see the fireflies in the fields when coming back after dark. I didn't ride a scooter, but hiring a grab wasn't any problem at all. It's just 20min to the centre of Ubud. It's easy to get groceries and cook for yourself. The bathroom is huge and beautiful! So is the bedroom. I felt very very comfortable there during my 2 week stay.
