This stay was one of the best stays I’ve had in my Indian experience. The guys running the place are amazing and super friendly. I got lost a couple times and they were on call to help me. Beautiful rooftop lookout. Must stay here if visiting Varanasi

The caretaker - Anil was on hand all the time to help. He helped navigate our way round Varanasi. He kept the apartment clean and safe. We weer a party of 3 adults. The location is ideal with views from 3 rooms of the Gangha.

The staff paid attention to every detail, from check-in to room service. The property was clean and well-maintained

The hotel is comfortable and very well presented What was exceptional was that I caught a bug when travelling in the city and got quite sick the staff were absolutely amazing how caring they were to me including arranging doctors and medicine and anything else I needed They were all amazing Thanks to them all

I'm Australian and visited during the low season and had the most incredible stay — it honestly felt like this family had a magic wand hidden somewhere. Every little problem I brought with me, they solved with such kindness and ease. From helping me get tailored clothes made, to fixing the screen on my phone, to preparing the most delicious meals, to even arranging a local traveler to accompany me to the ghats — they thought of everything. Mohit’s wife cooks the most amazing food, with a huge variety of delicious home-style Indian dishes. I probably ate 70% of my meals here, and every bite was a treat! As a solo woman traveler, I felt completely safe and cared for. When I ran into trouble with a bad Uber driver, they stepped in right away and sorted it out without hesitation. Whatever was on my to-do list, they somehow made it happen. Their home is full of warmth, laughter, and the sweetest little girls you’ll instantly fall in love with. Mohit’s mother also carries such wisdom and clarity in her words that, even when she spoke in Hindi, I found myself understanding. They’re wonderfully creative too — they hand painted uplifting murals to brighten the walls, from a cute panda to a serene Buddha, and they’ve even made cozy seats out of recycled tyre wheels. In the evenings, the open terrace is the perfect place to sit, while doves that have been nesting there for over five years coo gently in the background. The family also runs a small shop, so snacks and drinks are always within easy reach. Compared to the bustle of the city, this place is peaceful and quiet, yet still just a short walk from the Buddhist temples in Sarnath. The rooms are comfortable, with options to suit everyone — from dorms to single rooms and larger family spaces. Truly, this is the BEST place I have ever stayed. Inka Kashi was an awesome stay! The place was spacious and comfortable, with a fair price and easy access to Assi Ghat. I had a private room which was massive with a comfy bed, clean hot shower and strong fair/AC. The cafe upstairs had tasty and reasonably priced food too. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, sharing information about the accommodation, tips about the Kashi, or just a pleasant conversation. I would definitely recommend this spot!

Clean and modern. Good location in a quiet pocket of Varanasi, but still close to the river - 10-15min walk or short ride. Very friendly and helpful proprietors. Breakfast was delicious home made fresh food, mix of indian and western.
