Everything you read in the other reviews is true! To me, Vivek is the most helpful and kindest person I met in this trip and I won't forget him! he went out of his way to help me. As to the accomodation: The room is clean, the bed comfortable and although it's near the highway, it is quiet at night. I can warmly recommend Karippals Inn!

Bamboo Lagoon was our favourite place we stayed at in India! Our room was comfortable, clean, and right on the river. The resort is peaceful and perfect for relaxing while you watch boats go down the famous Alleppey backwaters! Its very quiet while still being a short 15-20min tuk tuk from the main town. All the staff were extremely friendly and were happy to help us organise tuk tuks and food. Getting the canoe across when going to town was a highlight!
