We certainly enjoyed our stay. The Villa is located pretty far away from Tuscan towns, people, up on the hill - which is perfect for a quiet, peaceful stay. You can enjoy your morning coffee with a fresh cornetto, then sunbathe and swim in the pool which is of appropriate size. No crowds in common areas, just a bunch of families and couples enjoying their peaceful vacations. The Villa is located a 30 minute drive from nearest towns which are full of great restaurant and cafes. On Saturday we were offered dinner cooked by the owner, it was delicious and we highly recommend this experience. Location is great for people wanting to unwind and visit a couple of Tuscan towns. Not that great for somebody wanting to sightsee all of them. There are multiple rest areas through the villa and its gardens, you can find a nice spot anywhere you’d like.

Having spent the previous week in a 'rustic' farm cottage, this penthouse apartment for the second week was a welcome improvement in terms of facilities and decor. There are three large double bedrooms available on the first floor, as well as a well-appointed kitchen/diner with a dishwasher. Each room had air-conditioning, which was a bonus. There is an upper room with a large TV, sofa, and chairs, as well as another toilet. However, the best part is the door that opens onto a balcony with panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside below. Absolutely stunning on a warm evening. There are tables, chairs, and sunbeds available to use. The property is literally at the bottom of the main street where you will find a number of different cafes, bars and eateries. Definitely try Taberna, which stocks some great wines and craft beers- the owner is also very friendly and helpful. Il Barroccio at the other end of the main street has a wide range of beers. All in all, this is a great property in a quaint, friendly, small tuscan town. The owner and her family are all super friendly. A great place to base yourself for visits to San Gimignano and Volterra. Would definitely stay here again.

Andrea is the type of guy you want by your side, he knows everything and can help with anything, he recommended amazing place to eat and amazing places to visit. We really enjoyed staying at Nerbona,the appartment was great,has no AC but since the house is made of stones it is cool inside,the welcome basket had everything for the start (vinegar,oil, salt,sugar,milk,juice,marmelade, water,...),the swimming pool is really big and the property is beautiful. It is close to San Gimignano and Volterra,which I think are the MUST to see.I have nothing to complain.The girls at the reception are kind and they advise you what to see and do in Tuscany. You can rent bikes,play table tennis,they have toys for the kids,...If you are thinking about visiting Tuscany,don't hesitate and just make the reservation here.You will have the best time.

The nicest sisters ran the place, and kept the entire farmhouse very tidy. It feels traditional and authentic. We had an amazing breakfast on the terrace overlooking the valley and it was excellent. I would totally recommend this place!

    We loved the location, very quiet, and perfect for the day trips we had in mind - we never had to travel longer than 45 minutes. The flat was small, but just right for 2 ; it was very clean, with a good bed, and a nice sitting area outside. Having a pool at our doorstep was marvellous, seeing as the temperatures rose to +30° Celsius. If we are in the area again, we will not hesitate to stay once again at La Grecinella !

    Maurizio is a great host. The appartment is big and the view is beautiful. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean. The location is calm and very convenient to explore Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra. It is 5 minutes walk from a nice village with a castle, restaurants, bars etc. The on-site restaurant is really good and affordable. Excellent place for families and couples!

    Breakfest iz excellent, fresh homemade cakes and usual buffet breakfast. The staff is very friendly and willing to answer every question. They will prepare several types of coffee or freshly baked eggs for you. The location is somewhat inaccessible and a car is required, but therefore ideal for a quiet vacation and exploring the surrounding towns and cities. Firenza and Piza are 60-70 km away, San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena about 25-35 km away. Great position in central Tuscany.
