Great place to stay in the mountains away from the tourist circus on Lake Como, which is a 15min drive away. There are also some good restaurants in the mountain village around the Villa (walking distance, although be prepared for walking uphill). The Villa is a beautifully renovated historic building run by a friendly Dutch couple. It has just a couple rooms and the neighbourhood is quiet. Great place to relax or to use as a base as exploring the Como and/or Lugano areas.

The best view over lake Como, look no further! The apartment was spotless and provided everything we needed (hair dryer, iron). The kitchen was also very well equipped. Our host was very friendly and helpful, offered lots of useful tips.

Everything was perfect: - The hosts are lovely, really good vibes; - The view is amazing; - Beds are comfortable and there is all the necessary equipments in the room and bathroom; - Breakfast are great (home made cakes, toasts, boiled/scrumble eggs, juice, coffee/tea w/wo milk, jam/nutella, yogurts, cereals, ...) and good quality; - They can cook dinner if you plan it with them, for a very reasonable price you'll spend a lovely time with good and traditional food; - You can park your car; - There's an amazing spot for hicking in the mountains; - Lot of restaurants and beach spots around... My husband and myself had a great time at Le Magnolie and we'll probably come back if we return at Como Lago. Thank you Stephano and Laura!

Most remarkable location and extraordinary views. Beautiful apartment with lots of authentic features and beautiful decorations. Miguela is a fantastic host, very kind with lots of attention to detail to ensure the best possible stay. Most romantic place we ever stayed at! The village itself is also very special because it’s car free, quiet and very authentic old Italy with a couple lovely restaurants and lots of beautiful walks.

    This is exceptional. Best place I have ever been too. The location and view was fabulous and the rooms were extremely clean. The kitchen was beautiful and had all the facilities to do your own cooking. Would definately recommend and hopefully visit again.

    The room was very clean and had all that you need. Beautiful location in the mountains. 10 Minutes drive from the lake. Must do: have dinner at the amazing restaurant downstairs. Very good, authentic food.

    Our second stay: We enjoyed it as the first one several years ago. Nice calm location (no traffic in small dead end street) with great view. Sunny balcony from breakfast until late afternoon. Very clean flat. Stable Wifi. Possible to walk down to lake on steep small path (proper boots recommended😉). Friendly host Julia!
