Completely renovated and clean flat in the center. It's on the first floor, stairs only. It is so stylish I wish this was actually my home! The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in one of the 3 good cafés nearby. The owners are nice and waited for us as we came a bit later than previously communicated. The terrace is spacious and I was surprised it's so big for the single apartment. The bedrooms are huge and not hot in the late summer (the room in my picture has 3 windows, not just one). The kitchen has the basics, including full-sized fridge, induction stovetop, coffee machine, and an oven. We came by bicycles and there was just enough room for them under the common stairs to the apartment. I wish to come back, maybe with friends, to have this as a base for exploring the surrounding hills with bicycles.

Andrea was a fabulous host from checking in and showing us the facilities and giving us a lot of good tips on what to see and places to eat. He gave us the choice of rooms as we were the only guests that evening and we chose the front room. He did warn us it was the noisiest though as it faced the street but we preferred to have the bathroom inside the room. The other rooms have a bathroom across the corridor which is not shared but for convenience we chose the room with the bathroom inside. The property is well situated and close to all attractions. We got a park right outside and did drive to a couple of places but that was more to save time as we checked in quite late after a long drive. The property was clean and comfortable. The shower was quite large by Italian standards and lovely and hot with great water pressure.

    Everything exceeded my expectations. The host (Franco) was incredibly hospitable and friendly and the entire place was very clean, well-maintained and nicely furnished.     The host , Marco, was exceptionally helpful, the apartment was very clean and very well equipped, even with fans which we rarely needed to use it was so cool, even on the hot days , It was very comfortable with an excellent location. You really couldn't ask for anything better, we really loved and enjoyed our stay.

    Our experience was perfect. Very welcoming hosts. Apartment is spacious, bright and extremely clean. Location central to all attractions. Ideal for a large group, plenty of living space. I would highly recommend L'Aquila Home Apartment.
