The luxury is unbeatable, gorgeous house and surrounding. Really close to Verona and there's enough to do in the area. Just keep in mind for fellow young travelers. Everything is car based if you wanna travel. Except the pool. €5 euros and a minute walk.

It is definitely THE BEST place where we have stayed in Italy. We wanted to stay a little far from the hustle of a touristic place like Verona, but still get the taste of Italy and La Locanda was the right place for this. It is situated in a beautiful region, surrounded by vineyards, so the road leading to this location is like in a movie. When we got to the apartment everything was just right, the temperature was ideal inside, the beds were very comfortable, and there was some food and water in the fridge thanks to our host. The view from our balcony was also really nice _ there was a table and some chairs so we could enjoy a nice glass of wine in a beautiful scenery. There was a little supermarket in front of the location which was great. There was also a great restaurant downstairs and another one nearby- great Italian food. Our host was really friendly - she speaks mostly Italian, but she made us feel at home. We would definitely come back again.

The property was in a perfect location set in the heart of vineyards. The room was clean and spacious and the food was incredible! We travelled around the region and ate in different places but nothing could be compared to Bacco d’Oro. Our host Martina was extremely nice and kind, anything a host could ask for. We are very grateful for this experience and hope to come back soon.

Wonderful blend of tradition and modern. Intelligently fitted out to accomodate nature and human comfort. Excellent view of rolling vineyards and green backdrop of hills. The staff is run by two lovely and professional young ladies (sisters) whose hospitality is warm and generous. Love the novelty of opening doors only with a QR code on your phone. No risk of misplacing keycards or keys. Also another ecological feat.

Customer service at the front desk was exceptional. I was overtired after driving across Europe for three days and made a mistake. The gentleman at the desk was compassionate, understanding, and supportive. Even after realizing the error was mine, he continued to be exceptionally compassionate and understanding. The breakfast was out of this world—worth a visit simply for the breakfast alone. Every corner of the property is stunningly beautiful, from the gorgeous (very comfortable & quiet) room, to the restaurant with a phenomenal evening menu and wine list. I cannot speak highly enough of La Vineria di San Mattia.

    Very nice host, large room, comfortable bed, clean sheets, available free parking space at the property, and good breakfast. It has a very nice courtyard where you can eat and relax. We received a bottle of local olive oil as a gift at the end of the stay. The landscapes are beautiful and the air is fresh. The location is perfect if you're traveling by car and want to visit Verona. It is 20 minutes drive to the center of Verona.

    A very nice apartment in a prime location. Everything looked and felt new or at least well maintained. The apartment was warm when we arrived (it was a cold January), the kitchen has all the basic things you need and the bed was fantastic.

    Great staff (owner Irene is extremely passionate for her business), great location and surroundings. Property preserves its old charm whilst being extremely well refurbished to highest modern standards, with highest attention to details. Very clean, very spacious and comfortable. After spending 2 weeks in Tuscany and around Garda lake, this last stop of our holiday was a total surprise which is definitely worth more than the 3 days we have allocated to it.
